Bukayo Saka dedicated Arsenal’s rampant win against Slavia Prague to their fans and said the Gunners have a great chance of going all the way and winning the Europa League.

Saka starred as Arsenal thrashed Slavia 4-0 to progress 5-1 on aggregate and set up a semi-final meeting with former manager Unai Emery and his Villarreal side.

“It was fantastic from start to finish,” Saka told BT Sport. “We did it for all the fans. They all deserve it for all the support they give us.

“It shows everyone how exciting we can be and what we can do. We are such a great team and when we play like this it is so amazing to be involved in.

“I am sure it is amazing for our fans to watch. We just need to not make silly mistakes. We have a great chance of going to the final and winning the competition.

“It is really up to us. We have the quality, we just have to show the performances and the game management. We are really happy to progress.”

With the tie finely poised at 1-1 from the first leg, Arsenal produced one of their best displays of the season in Prague.

They raced into a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette and Saka inside 24 minutes, and Lacazette added a fourth in the second half.

Saka said: “I think we showed real character.

“We got the first one disallowed. I heard it was only a fraction offside which was disappointing for Emile not to get his goal because I think he deserved it.

“But we kept going, got the first one again, then the second and I got one myself. We were really strong and pretty much killed the game in the first half.

“In the first leg we played well, we were just not clinical. Credit to the manager and the coaching staff, they way they set up, we pressed and they could not get out.

“The control we had over the game, the movements, the rotations, they could not stop us.”
