Brentford forward Clayton Donaldson plays it cool ahead of Wolves test

Brentford forward Clayton Donaldson feels it is too early to call tomorrow’s clash with Wolves a promotion decider.

League One leaders Brentford host third-placed Wolves with only two points separating them.

But Donaldson said: “There are still a lot of games to play so I do not think the game will decide who goes up. The fact we are both in the top three makes it tasty but there are still other teams fighting to go up. We are in a good position and a positive result would stand us in good stead.”

Brentford remain unbeaten since Mark Warburton replaced Uwe Rosler in December but Wolves have won five in a row.

Donaldson, who played in the 0-0 draw at Wolves in November, said: “Two teams high on confidence is the ingredients for a good game.

“Wolves have some good players and they are on our tails so it will be a tough game.”
