Brazilian striker Hulk says he still aspires to play in the Premier League.

The 30-year-old, who revealed himself to be a fan of Arsenal’s style of football under Arsene Wenger, has been at Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG since 2016 having made a £46.1million switch from Zenit St Petersburg.

Before moving to Russia Hulk had been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea and in an interview with Sport TV he refused to move out a move to the Premier League, insisting that “nothing is impossible”.

“It's always been a dream, it's a very competitive championship and the stadiums are full in every game, no matter what the team,” he said.

“I always follow the league and I have always supported Arsenal.

“[I'm a fan of] Wenger's way of playing, but unfortunately he has not won trophies in recent years.”

Hulk has scored eight goals and provided nine assists in 14 appearances for Shanghai SIPG this season.
