Hugo Lloris: 6

One moment of indecisiveness in the first half did not define his display; a superb save to keep out Ritchie's dipping effort did instead. Safe hands, as usual.

Kyle Walker: 6

Inconsistent. The full back pushed forward at every opportunity but did not convince in Tottenham's third of the pitch, as so often proves to be the case.

Toby Alderweireld: 6

Solid all round. The Belgian is a real threat at set pieces and continues to display an excellent passing repertoire.

Jan Vertonghen: 6

Far from flawless in the air, the central defender did not dominate Glenn Murray and was wasteful in possession too often.

Danny Rose: 5

Poor defensively for the opening goal, the full back struggled to stifle the threat of Matt Ritchie. Disappointing delivery from wide areas.

Dele Alli: 6

A relatively quiet afternoon for the midfielder but his touch and vision did not falter. Moved the ball quickly and confidently. Looked at home when he was moved to number 10 late on.

Eric Dier: 6

A typically robust display from the Englishman. His sturdy and composed presence in front of the back four has become vital to Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Mousa Dembele: 7

The Belgian achieved achieved outstanding numbers in the first half and took his goal well. Shook off a knock in the process of scoring to complete an encouraging display after disappointing in Brussels.

Christian Eriksen: 8

Closing in on top form. The midfielder's build up play was superb. His vision and technique were too much for the Cherries back line. Shook the post with a delicious long-range effort.

Erik Lamela: 6

Worked tirelessly and jumped at the chance to score from close range. Still has plenty of people to convince but his resurgence continued.

Harry Kane: 8

The striker's hat-trick was not particularly pretty but it was precisely what he needed. He finished confidently, produced excellent movement throughout and will have had his confidence suitably boosted.

Substitutes

Ryan Mason: 5

Will have been pleased to make a return after a lengthy injury lay off. Could struggle to reclaim a starting berth given Dier's emergence.

Kieran Trippier: 5

Finally deemed to be worthy of some Premier League minutes but did not have long enough to make an impact.
