Belgium v USA team news: Tottenham and Liverpool target Divock Origi starts, as Manchester City's Vincent Kompany captains the side

Tottenham and Liverpool target Divock Origi leads the line for Belgium against the USA tonight, at the expense of dropped Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

Belgium make six changes from the side which beat South Korea, with Manchester City’s Vincent Kompany in the side after overcoming a groin strain.

Chelsea duo Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois also start, as do Tottenham’s Jan Vertonghen and Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini.

Former Lilywhite Clint Dempsey captains the USA, who have Everton keeper Tim Howard and former Aston Villa midfielder Michael Bradley in their side.

Sunderland striker Jozy Altidore is fit enough to return to the bench, and Stoke midfielder Geoff Cameron comes in for Kyle Beckerman.

The winner of tonight’s match in Salvador will take on Argentina in Saturday’s quarter-final.

Belgium starting XI: Courtois; Alderweireld, Van Buyten, Kompany, Vertonghen; Witsel, Fellaini; De Bruyne, Mertens, Hazard; Origi.

USA starting XI: Howard; Johnson, Besler, Gonzalez, Beasley; Cameron, Bradley, Jones; Bedoya, Zusi; Dempsey.
