Gareth Bale returned to the starting line-up after Carlo Ancelotti opted to rest the Welshman for Real Madrid's trip to Osasuna at the weekend.
Bale was also left on the bench for last week's first leg battling flu but returned to a Madrid side that included Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Pepe.
For the hosts, Philipp Lahm and Arjen Robben came back in after they were rested for the weekend's domestic fixture.
