In Bastian Schweinsteiger Manchester United have signed a winner. And he is eager to bring the trophy winning habit with him.

Having won every major trophy in Germany with Bayern Munich, and topped that off with a World Cup triumph in Brazil last summer, the 31-year-old is excited for a new chapter in a garlanded career. And he expects to continue his winning record at Old Trafford.

Speaking at his unveiling Schweinsteiger committed to bringing the title back to United, saying: "I want to win league titles - United are used to it and so am I".

During 13 years at Germany's own mega-club, nicknamed FC Hollywood, the midfielder won 19 domestic trophies, a Champions League in 2013 and a World Cup crown in 2014. If he can follow that up next season he may be able crucial in ending United's two seasons without a trophy, as good as a drought for a club that got the taste for titles under Sir Alex Ferguson.
