Standard Sport assess the individual performance of each of Manchester City's signings across the 2014-15 season.

We’ve all been there. The school year is winding down to a close and you await those dreaded report cards… Some are stuck on the fridge in celebration; others land you in it with your folks.

Over at Standard Sport, we don’t feel the Premier League should be any different.

They say 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it', but Manchester City's struggles this term have shown even champions must continue to strengthen or risk falling behind. They were knocked out of domestic cup competition by relegation-candidates Newcastle and Championship Middlesbrough respectively, while their defence of the league crown fell away early in 2015.

Of the five signings since City lifted the league trophy, only one ranks above a C in our transfer report. Here’s a snapshot taken from one of the others…
