Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger paid a visit to Liverpool's team hotel on Thursday, as they prepare to take on Brazilian side Flamengo in the Club World Cup final.

The Frenchman was reunited with former rival Jurgen Klopp for an interview with beIN ahead of the game in Doha, Qatar, which will see the Reds looking to finish the year by adding to the Champions League title they won in June.

As well as his media work, Wenger is in Qatar as part of his new role as Fifa's chief of global development, which was confirmed last month.

The position will see the 70-year-old leading the game’s global governing body in its attempts to grow the game around the world.

The pair clashed 10 times as managers, with Klopp edging the head-to-head with four wins to Wenger’s three, and the other three meetings ending in draws.

Liverpool qualified for Saturday’s final after a late Roberto Firmino goal secured a 2-1 semi-final win over Mexican side Monterrey.
