Danny Welbeck in Arsenal Europa League Final squad as players travel to Baku ahead of Chelsea clash

1/20

Arsenal today flew out to Azerbaijan ahead of their Europa League Final against Chelsea next week.

The Gunners, flying without forward Henrikh Mkhitaryan after the Armenian decided he would not be safe in Baku due to the relationship between Azerbaijan and his home country, left from Luton airport on Saturday morning.

Having played two behind-closed-doors games since the end of the Premier League season to get a look at his players and those coming back from injury, Unai Emery has included Danny Welbeck in the travelling squad.

Welbeck, who will leave the club this summer after his deal came to an end, has not featured since breaking his ankle in a 0-0 draw with Sporting Lisbon back in November and is now a target for Everton.
