Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Danny Welbeck is in line for a first Arsenal start in 10 months against Hull on Saturday, as reported by Standard Sport on Tuesday.

Mohamed Elneny and David Ospina will also start while Laurent Koscielny has recovered from a dead leg but Gabriel is out with a hamstring injury.

Jack Wilshere is unavailable for another “three to four weeks” as he recovers from an ankle injury.

On Welbeck's recovery Wenger added: “It’s always a good observation of character and the resilience of a person when they are injured for such a long time,” he said.

“I think he has become a stronger man with what happened to him. He is already experienced, physically he is back to his best, so I believe the best is still to come for him."
