Arsenal are set to welcome back Hector Bellerin, Francis Coquelin and Kieran Gibbs to first-team action after the trio resumed full training this week.

Bellerin was expected to be available for last weekend’s Premier League game at Swansea but in the end he was not risked as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. Gabriel deputised at right-back in Wales but Bellerin is set to be available for Sunday’s home match against Burnley.

Francis Coquelin limped out of the Gunners’ 3-3 draw at Bournemouth on January 3 with a hamstring problem but he has recovered well and is hopeful of being selected.

Gibbs has rejoined the group having been missing with an ankle problem since Boxing Day and will push Nacho Monreal for a starting spot at left-back.

The club are continuing to assess Olivier Giroud’s toe injury after he was forced off at Swansea on the hour mark while Theo Walcott is unlikely to be fit as he struggles with a calf problem.
