Reported Arsenal and Liverpool target Alexandre Lacazette has not asked to leave Lyon, although he could still depart France this summer, coach Hubert Fournier has revealed.

Lacazette impressed in Ligue 1 side last season after ending the campaign as France's top scorer with 27 league goals in 33 appearances.

Such form led to the striker being linked with a move abroad - with Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and German club Borussia Dortmund all being claimed to be keen on the France international, whose current contract with Les Gones expires in 2018.

But Lyon coach Fournier has now revealed the 24-year-old has not told him he wants to leave the club this summer, but conceded a departure was still possible.

"Things can still change. It is early July," he said on Friday.

"The sooner it is resolved, the better it will be for everyone.

"He is still under contract and the club is the decision maker. At no time have I felt a request to leave from him.

"But this is not a worry that prevents me from sleeping. We are not preparing him for another team. Our mindset is different."

When asked about his future with Les Gones, Lacazette told Le Parisien: "I have not made my decision. I will go on holiday, leave my agent to discuss things, for him to look after all that.

"I am not worried. As soon as I have decided, I want it all to happen quickly."

He added: "When? That is the question… I could stay at Lyon next season and have a terrible season, I could leave and have an incredible season. Everything depends on the destination.

"It would have to be for a Champions League club… Barcelona and Real Madrid, you don’t reject them.

"But today, between leaving and staying, it is not 50-50, it is 0. I am not thinking about it. I am going to enjoy the national team and I will think about it after."
