Arsenal will look to continue their winning start to the new season when they take on Leicester City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

The Gunners have started their season with victories over Fulham and West Ham and were putting in the work on the training pitch this week ahead of the trip to the King Power Stadium.

Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi were both involved - Ozil is still to play a minute of first-team football since the restart in June although he did play in a pre-season game against Aston Villa.

Guendouzi meanwhile has not featured since his clash with Neal Maupay in the defeat to Brighton last season but Mikel Arteta has previously indicated the Frenchman will have a chance to reclaim a place in the squad.

Lucas Torreira was also with the group as speculation mounts over his future with reports in Spain Atletico Madrid are keen to sign him on loan.

Kieran Tierney was not spotted with Arteta confirming after Saturday's win over West Ham that the Scot is carrying a minor muscle injury.
