Despite the international break coming to a close, the transfer speculation regarding several players continues to rage with a handful of Premier League clubs said to be drawing up their list of targets for January.

Standard Sport brings you the best pieces of gossip from today's papers and beyond –with Arsenal once more reported to be on the hunt for a striker.

Nolito may well be among the front-runners for a January deal after saying he would not sign a new contract at Celta Vigo, but another name linked with Arsene Wenger’s shopping list is Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international has been in electric form in the Bundesliga, netting 19 goals in 16 games to guide his team to second place behind Bayern Munich. Arsenal would have to offer Dortmund a hefty £42 million, not far behind what they paid for Mesut Ozil, to secure the 26-year-old.
