Arsenal missed out on the chance to break into the Premier League’s top four as they were held to a draw by Burnley on Sunday.

The Gunners dominated possession at Emirates Stadium but were unable to find a way past Sean Dyche’s side.

Alexandre Lacazette missed the best chance of the game in the second-half, however other than that Arsenal did not create very much.

Aaron Ramsdale - 6

Not masses to do all afternoon, really. He was a bit shaky early on, fluffing a punch and almost being caught in possession too, but he recovered after that.

Ben White - 6

Asked to fill in at right-back in the absence of Takehiro Tomiyasu. Did fine defensively, but going forward didn’t offer the same threat as the Japan international.

Rob Holding - 6

Came into the side and did a solid enough job at centre-back. He wasn’t really challenged defensively. Doesn’t offer the same threat on the ball as White.

Gabriel - 7

A pretty quiet afternoon for the Brazilian, who dealt with Burnley’s striker easily. Caused the odd problem from set-pieces.

Kieran Tierney - 7

Full of running as ever and was one of Arsenal’s better attacking weapons. Put it countless crosses from the left but no one could make the most of them.

Albert Sambi Lokonga - 6

It was a game where you wanted the Belgian to boss the midfield, but he couldn’t get hold of the game. Looks better when alongside a senior midfielder.

Martin Odegaard - 7

Was probably just about Arsenal’s best player during a frustrating afternoon. Always looked the most likely to make something happen.

Bukayo Saka - 6

Fairly lively and gave Erik Pieters a tough afternoon. He just didn’t quite have that final ball in his locker to make Burnley pay.

Emile Smith Rowe - 6

Came alive towards the end of the game and created the best chance when he burst down the right to tee up Lacazette.

Gabriel Martinelli - 6

Boundless energy, as always, but he wasn’t at his flying best. Final ball was lacking and he didn’t have his shooting boots on either.

Alexandre Lacazette - 5

Missed the best chance of the game and scuffed a fairly good opportunity in the first-half too. Not the best afternoon for the Frenchman, who has been good lately.
