The sixth round of Premier League fixtures featured two London derbies that didn't disappoint in regards to entertainment but fans of both Arsenal and Crystal Palace were sent home disappointed.

Jose Mourinho's Chelsea and Spurs claimed the bragging rights across the capital, but there were also two shock results secured by London teams away from familiar surroundings.

West Ham claimed a third successive scalp from one of the division's elite after recording a deserved 2-1 victory at Manchester City.

Watford produced a superb display to claim all three points against a dispirited Newcastle United and several of their players successfully forced their way into our London Team of the Week, compiled by WhoScored.com.

Odion Ighalo's brace took his tally for the campaign to four as Quique Flores' side grabbed their first victory on the road to move up to 10th place.

Mid-table obscurity would do very nicely for the Hornets come May and the Nigeria international's goalscoring form could help them achieve such a feat.

The 26-year-old was awarded a rating of 8.59, more than any other player, and deservedly lead the side's front line as a lone forward.

Allan Nyom, a summer signing from Udinese, thrived at right back while goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes produced several saves to ensure that a late rally from the Toon Army ended in failure.

Three Chelsea players made the cut as goalscorer Eden Hazard, whose late strike saw off the Gunners' challenge at Stamford Bridge, finally opened his account for the reigning champions.

Midfielder Cesc Fabregas passed confidently in midfield while Cesar Azpilicueta produced a typically stoic, if not spectacular, performance at left back.

Heung-min Son's third goal in as many games capped a memorable week for the South Korea international as Mauricio Pochettino's side edged out the Eagles in a close encounter at White Hart Lane.

Despite their defeat, two Palace players were deemed worthy of inclusion. Yohan Cabaye could have celebrated a memorable goal were it not for the width of a post while Brede Hangeland did enough to claim his place even although he did not cover himself himself in glory as Son broke the deadlock.

The Hammers may have secured an impressive collective result but just one man from Slaven Bilic's ranks has received individual recognition.

Winston Reid's displays continue to go from strength to strength and it was the New Zealand international's composure in the centre of defence that helped keep City's attackers at bay.
