Arsenal line up Gianluigi Buffon as solution to goalkeeping problem

Arsene Wenger is reportedly weighing up a move for Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

The 33-year-old Juventus player is seen as the solution to the Gunners problems in goal and would be available on a free transfer in the summer due to a clause in his contract, according to the Daily Mail.

Wenger brought Jens Lehmann back to the club earlier this month and the veteran German could be in line to replace Manuel Almunia for this weekend's clash with Blackburn at the Emirates.
