Ian Wright knows a thing or two about scoring goals for Arsenal - and Eddie Nketiah looks as though he might be doing the same in the very near future.

Nketiah is highly rated at Arsenal, but such is the competition for places in Unai Emery's squad that the 20-year-old striker was sent on loan to Leeds United for the 2019-20 season to gain valuable experience and playing time.

The forward got off the mark for his new club in the EFL Cup at Salford City last week, but made an instant name for himself at Elland Road on Wednesday night by coming off the bench and netting a late winner as Leeds returned to the top of the Championship with a 1-0 victory over Brentford.

With former Arsenal striker Wright watching on from the stands, the Gunners loanee was sent on for his Championship debut in the 77th minute in a bid to find a goal.

And just four minutes later, the 20-year-old tapped home from Helder Costa's cross to ensure Leeds leapfrogged Sheffield Wednesday to the summit.

Following the match, Gunners legend Wright tweeted a video of himself chanting: "Eddie, Eddie, Eddie!" following the win, with the caption: "Eddie Eddie!!!!!!!!!"

Arsenal congratulated Nketiah on Twitter, writing: "Another game, another goal [...] It took @EddieNketiah9 just four minutes to get the winner after coming off the bench for @LUFC tonight".

If Nketiah carries on going like this, it won't be too long before he's following in Wright's footsteps for Arsenal.
