Arsenal will be without Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey for Sunday’s match with Leeds United.

Partey suffered a hamstring strain during last Saturday’s defeat to Aston Villa and will not be fit in time for the visit of Marcelo Bielsa's side to north London.

Arsenal say the Ghanaian, who has also had a thigh issue this season, is still being assessed and no time frame has been set for his return.

Left-back Tierney will also be absent for Sunday’s game at Emirates Stadium due to a strain in his right lower leg.

The Scot has not played for Arsenal since January 18, when he completed 90 minutes in a 3-0 Premier League win over Newcastle.

Since then Tierney has been struggling for fitness - but Arsenal hope he will be integrated back into training next week.

The Gunners will at least be able to welcome back Bernd Leno and David Luiz for Sunday’s match against Leeds as both have served their one-match suspensions after being sent off against Wolves last week.
