Fenerbahce are all set to welcome Arsenal to their ground, the 50,509 capacity Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium and Arsenal’s players have already spoken about how they are expecting a hostile atmosphere when they play tonight.
What they probably weren’t expecting was a welcome party last night outside their hotel.
Gunners midfielder Jack Wilshere tweeted a picture (above) of fireworks outside the hotel room with the caption “Getting ready for tonight! Had some visitors outside our hotel last night! Atmosphere will be amazing! #AFC”
Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski and Wojciech Szczesny have all talked about what part the crowd will play on Wednesday evening. Arsenal will be aiming to bounce back from their disappointing 3-1 opening day defeat to Aston Villa.
