Arsenal plan Amario Cozier-Duberry contract talks as interest mounts in ‘next Bukayo Saka’

Clubs in Belgium and the Netherlands are monitoring the Gunners academy star, who has left than a year to run on his current deal

Arsenal are planning new contract talks with academy star Amario Cozier-Duberry.

The 18-year-old midfielder has entered the final 12 months of his current deal in north London and is attracting interest from clubs in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Dutch sides Sparta Rotterdam, PSV Eindhoven and Vitesse Arnhem are all monitoring Cozier-Duberry’s situation, while Belgian club Gent are keeping tabs on him too.

Cozier-Duberry is happy at Arsenal, with whom he has played since the age of 14, and is regarded as an exciting youth prospect by academy coaches.

He excelled on the club’s run to the FA Youth Cup final last season and has already been compared to Bukayo Saka.

Cozier-Duberry operates in the same position as Saka, out wide on the right, and was named in the senior Arsenal squad for their pre-season tour to the USA this summer.
