Antonio Conte has insisted he was not angry with Chelsea failing to see out a win against Arsenal but underlined that the sole focus is now on finishing in the top four.

Chelsea came close to sealing a 2-1 comeback win at the Emirates Stadium after Eden Hazard netted a second-half penalty to restore parity following Jack Wilshere's goal and Marcos Alonso netted in the 84th minute.

But Hector Bellerin's injury-time half-volley denied the champions all three points in north London, leaving the champions one point behind second-placed Manchester United.

Conte has previously deemed Chelsea's chances of retaining their league crown as "bulls***", but reiterated that stance on Wednesday with Champions League qualification the main aim.

When asked if he was angry at earn just one point,Conte told reporters: "No, that's a big word. I also know that in my players there is a lot of disappointment. We win together and lose together. My feeling is the same as my players. It was a good performance, [good] intensity.

"This game was an exciting one for the people watching it, but less for us. When you are winning 2-1 and there are two minutes to go, you have to win the game.

"The final result is a good one but at the end of the game there is a lot of disappointment because we missed a lot of important chances.

"We must fight for a place in the Champions League...yes, top four. In this league, the situation is very difficult. It will be difficult for each team to fight Manchester City.

"We must hope they lose five games in the last 13 games and then for us, [Manchester] United, Tottenham we win every game. It won't be easy for any team."

He added: "To draw against Arsenal at the Emirates is a good result. If we look back at the chances we could have scored, we dropped two points."
