Andros Townsend believes Crystal Palace are becoming a match for any team in the Premier League after beating Arsenal 3-0 following their recent win over Chelsea.
Relegation battlers Palace shocked league leaders Chelsea last weekend with a stunning 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge, but followed up that result with a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Southampton on Wednesday night.
Despite the Eagles feeling the pressure just above the relegation zone, Sam Allardyce's players produced an excellent performance against Arsenal on Monday night as Townsend, Yohan Cabaye and Luka Milivojevic all scored to put Arsene Wenger's Gunners to the sword.
The win leaves Palace six points clear of the drop zone with a game in hand over 18-th placed Swansea, and goal hero Townsend was delighted with how the Eagles put Allardyce's tactics into practise against Arsenal.
"It was an incredible victory," BBC Sport reports Townsend as saying. "We're full of confidence and we were confident we could do it tonight after the win at Chelsea.
"We had to work extremely hard. We knew the pressure was off and we could hit them on the counter attack.
"The plan was about getting the ball to Christian Benteke and then getting the bits off him. We implemented that to a tee.
"We need to get our heads back in the game and focus on Saturday now.
"We need to get another three points against Leicester to help us towards survival.
"We didn't do that after we beat Chelsea, which cancelled out that result.
"Sam Allardyce has been incredible. I was on the wrong end of the Sam Allardyce factor when I was at Newcastle last season but he looks to have worked his magic and hopefully we can get enough points to surive."
