Saturday's Ligue 1 match between Amiens vs Lille was abandoned after safety barriers in the visitors' stands collapsed, injuring 20 people, three of them seriously.

The incident occurred in the 17th minute after Lille fans were celebrating the opening goal at Stade de la Licorne, with fans falling forwards after a barrier appeared to give way.

Amiens confirmed that a security meeting was held to see whether the game would restart, with Lille later tweeting that the match would not resume.

Lille then confirmed via Twitter that 20 people had been injured during the collapse, of whom three were taken to hospital.
