Adel Taarabt can keep throwing tantrums if it helps Rangers

11 April 2012

Neil Warnock will allow Queens Park Rangers' brilliant but temperamental star Adel Taarabt to carry on throwing tantrums as long as he continues to deliver moments of magic on the pitch.

Taarabt kicked a water bottle in anger as he walked off the pitch after being substituted in the 3-0 win at Ipswich on Tuesday and continued sulking in the shower as Warnock spoke to the players at full time.

But the Loftus Road boss said: "He'll probably take his shirt off and throw it at me at times — but if I can cope with it, everybody else can, too.

"He's not Latin American but he's got that type of character and you can't let it upset you. You've got to learn to cope with his tantrums.
"I just look at the good things he does. I've never had a player of better quality."

Top-of-the-table QPR have a date with former manager Paulo Sousa when they travel to the Walkers Stadium in Leicester tomorrow.
