Fletcher slams ECB

Former England coach Duncan Fletcher has hit out at the England and Wales Cricket Board for organising an independent review into England's 5-0 Ashes thrashing last winter without notifying him.

Fletcher, who has controversially criticised several prominent figures in his forthcoming autobiography 'Behind the Shades', claims the formation of a panel after the humiliation in Australia was "the lowest point of my cricketing career".

In his book, serialised in the Daily Mail, Fletcher said: "I knew nothing about it. Nobody had had the decency to tell me."

He added: "I can honestly say that was the lowest point of my cricketing career. I felt completely isolated. Not even my employers were backing me up during such a difficult time."
