Farnborough VIth Form College's first game together produced an excellent24-10 win at Churchers.

All three tries from Simon Edmunds (2) and DavidPalmer came from good interlinking between forwards and backs.

AdamGardner converted them and kicked a penalty. Glyn, from Epsom, reached theVase quarter-finals last season and head for the second chance saloon againafter a comprehensive 46-0 defeat at St George's, Weybridge and so do Reedsafter a 57-0 defeat at Richmond-upon-Thames College.

The home teamdominated at set-pieces and there was a hat-trick of tries from IssamKurdi.

Peter Freeth snapped up two as did kicker Delon Armitage, who alsoconverted six tries.

It was scrappy but Howard of Effingham scored someearly points and held on to win 31-8 against St Dunstans from Catford.

NickWoosnam (2), James Moore and Jack Matthews scored the Effingham tries.

Caterham recovered from going 7-0 down at home to Wimbledon College byscoring three tries in quick succession through Pat Kearon and David Kelly(2) and second half scores from Charles Vening and Pete Glancy completed awell-earned win.

Strode's are looking good too and the 64-0 scoreline atGuildford County did not lie.

Their backs had a field day with Ed Cambraycollecting a hat-trick of tries and Chris Smith and Jay Matthews two each.Matthews kicked seven of ten conversions.
