Kieren Fallon failed to make a winning return

Surrounded by security guards, Kieren Fallon today made a dramatic return to racing at Salisbury this afternoon after spending most of yesterday being questioned by police over alleged race fixing.

The champion jockey made no comment to the hordes of reporters gathered at the course.

He failed to make a winning return as John Dunlop's Golden Fury could finish only fourth in the opening race.
