Former Southampton manager Gordon Strachan is facing disrepute charges from the Football Association after comments he made about assistant referee Mike Tingey.

Strachan will have to answer to charges of failing to act in the best interests of the game and bringing the game into disrepute after remarks he made about linesman Tingey following the Saints' 2-0 defeat at Arsenal on 10 February.
