Evans pledges future to Brentford

Brentford skipper Paul Evans has pledged his future to the club and vowed to help them to a major final at the Millenium Stadium.

Evans was subject of a £100,000 bid by Colchester last week, but Brentford rejected it.

The 26-year-old is delighted to be staying at Griffin Park, with a win in the LDV Vans Trophy Southern Area final first leg at Southend tomorrow night his target . Evans said: "I don't want to leave."
