England choose to field

England won another important toss, and unsurprisingly chose to bowl first in the fourth NatWest Series match against India at Lord's.

India therefore found themselves batting first for the fourth time, on a pitch tinged with green but under sunny skies, in a series they trail 2-0 with two to play.

England made one change, bringing Steven Finn in on his home ground in place of Jade Dernbach - for his first international match since the Sri Lanka Test at this venue more than three months ago.

India were unchanged from the team which pushed England hard last time at The Oval, but they are still awaiting a first victory over their hosts in any format this summer.
