Ellis is thrilled with London Irish appointment

London Irish today strengthened their staff by naming Dave Ellis as defence coach, a role he has held with France for a decade.

He has signed a one-year contract and will continue to work with the French national team.

Ellis said: "I've been looking for an opportunity to get back to the Premiership in England for a year and I'm delighted to be here."
