Early test for Knights' strength

Paul Fielder13 April 2012

London Knights begin their season nearly two weeks before their Superleague rivals when they travel to Switzerland to take part in the pre-season Credit Suisse Cup this weekend.

Knights' owners, Anschutz Sports, have organised the tournament in Geneva and bring together four other Anschutz - owned European teams to take part in the competition.

The tournament affords head coach Bob Leslie the opportunity to see how his 11 new signings, including the three ex- Cardiff Devils stars Steve Thornton, Ian McIntyre and Vezio Sacratini have adapted.

The Knights face Sparta Prague in their first game today.
