Downes worry over 'dodgy run'

Wally Downes today criticised Brentford's lack of staying power.

His side let slip a half-time lead to draw 1-1 at Oldham and extend their winless run to eight games.

Downes, who also saw Joel Kitamirike sent off at Oldham, said: "What's disappointing for me is the fact that we work all week formulating systems and practising set pieces and then we don't go on and close games out.

"Even in this dodgy run we've had, we've got into the position to win games, but we don't."
