Docherty's GB ultimatum

Scotland international Laurence Docherty has been given an ultimatum by Great Britain hockey officials.

Docherty has been named in the GB training squad to begin preparations for next year's Athens Olympics, despite the midfielder previously stating his disillusionment with the British set-up and his intention to apply for Dutch citizenship.

The 25-year-old, who has lived in Holland for the past three years while playing for Dutch club Klein Zwitserland, has been asked to make a written commitment by 12 October.
