The first Daily Mail Under 18 Cup winners will converge onStratford-upon-Avon on May 12 from far-flung quarters of the world tocelebrate the ten-year anniversary of King Edward VI, Stratford's 4-3victory over Bishop Wordsworth from Salisbury.

All but two of the players involved in the 1991 triumph have been trackeddown by Rowan Fuller, linchpin of the side who went on to play forNewcastle and Richmond.

The reunion will be at the Vintners Arms, ahostelry only minutes from the school where the players enjoyed the oddlemonade during their schooldays.

The missing players will be Dougie Gray the try scorer - worth four points in those days - who is a doctor inAustralia, and one of the replacements, Matt Saunders, who will be inBarbados.

One of the guests of honour will be coach Roger Jenkins, still in charge ofrugby at the Warwickshire school which, with this season's winners Campion, has the most impressive record for a state school in the the competition.

Jenkins, a teammate of Barrie Corless in his Birmingham days, remembers thegame as a nail-biting affair against a team containing England and BritishLion Richard Hill at No 8.

'We scored early on and they soon kicked apenalty and we were hanging on for most of the game. We had a very goodpack that year but instead of keeping the ball among the forwards, the teamwent out at Twickenham and decided to kick the ball. That's schoolboys foryou! But I still have wonderful memories and it will be fascinating to meetup with the guys. They gave me one of the great days of my rugby career.'
