Crystal Palace v Wolves

14 April 2012

(3pm, Saturday, Selhurst Park).
Tickets: £17-£25 (£5-£9 concs). Tel. 020 8771 8841
Last season: 1 (Bradbury) 1 (Akinbiyi)
Fact: Palace have gone five and Wolves six games without a win. Wolves' 3-2 win in November 1996 was their last victory at Palace
Recommended pub: Selhurst Arms (Selhurst Road)
After everything that Palace fans have been through over the past few years, they certainly don't deserve relegation. Manager Alan Smith feels his ailing side can still avoid the big drop, but to do that, they must beat a mid-table Wolves tomorrow and then follow that up with what really is a six-pointer if ever there was one, at Graham Rix's Portsmouth next Wednesday. In the meantime, it's easy to spot an Eagles supporter. He or she is the one with the pale features and everything crossed.
Verdict: HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL
