Ricky Ponting's pep-talk inspires Haddin ton

Brad Haddin responded to captain Ricky Ponting's call for a big score as he hit 110 in Australia's six-wicket win against New Zealand in the third one-day international in Hamilton today.

The hosts were all out for 245 before Haddin hit the first ton by Australia in the five-match series.

Haddin, who side lead 2-1, said: "Ricky challenged us all for someone to go on and get three figures."
