Prankster: Root caught his teammate out

England cricketer Joe Root managed to get England teammate Stuart Broad with one of the oldest tricks in the book ahead of the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston.

Alastair Cook's side were taking part in a light-hearted training session and Broad was left red faced following the young Yorkshireman's antics.

The Ashes series may be level but it is clearly 1-0 to Root after he crept up on the bowler unnoticed and embarrassed his colleague, whose attention was elsewhere.

Broad was caught out, but not in the usual sense of the word.

Isn't cricket supposed to be a gentleman's game?

Meanwhile, England will be hoping that it's the Baggy Greens with their trousers around their ankles by the end of the day.
