Jennings digs in over top job

Ray Jennings has told South Africa's cricket authorities they will have to make the first move if they want him back as coach.

Current boss Corrie van Zyl recently announced he will leave the role after the 2011 World Cup.

Jennings has been seen as a candidate having transformed the fortunes of Indian Premier League side Royal Challengers Bangalore.

But the 56-year-old, who was South Africa coach for a brief spell in 2004, said: "They know me and are aware of what I have to offer. They will have to come to me and say 'these are the reasons that we want you to apply'."
