Colin Turkington title win takes time to sink in

Colin Turkington felt stunned after clinching the British Touring Car Championship in a nail-biting finale at Brands Hatch.

Jason Plato became only the second driver on record to win all three races in a day. But second place in the final race for Turkington was enough for the Ulsterman to clinch his first title by five points from Plato.

"I'm feeling incredible," said the BMW driver. "I'm sure it won't sink in for a few days. You wait so many years for days like this and when it happens you can't quite believe it."
