Olympic champion Christine Ohuruogu breezed to victory in her first 400metres race since last September at the Montreuil International in Paris.

The Londoner eased home in 51.14sec, which was a second and a half faster than her nearest rival, and her time on a cold night bodes well for the defence of her world title in Berlin in August.

Dwain Chambers overcame a poor start last night to power through and easily win the 100m ahead of fellow Briton Harry Aikines-Aryeetey in a time of 10.17sec.
