Chelsea put three past Rovers

Chelsea stayed in touch with leaders Manchester United at the top of the Barclays Premiership with an easy 3-0 win over Blackburn at Stamford Bridge.

Drogba put the champions in front in the sixth minute with a low shot, and Lampard added a second with a 25-yard drive in the 67th minute. Substitute Salomon Kalou made it three in the 90th minute.

However Chelsea, who remain six points adrift of United, were rocked by the loss of England left-back Ashley Cole with suspected knee ligament damage in the second half.
