Chelsea lifted by return of Robben

Arjen Robben will be fit for Chelsea's Champions League semi-finals against Liverpool.

The Dutch winger has been out for three weeks after suffering a bruised ankle in Holland's World Cup qualifier against Romania, but will return to full training on Monday.

Head coach Jose Mourinho plans to put Robben on the bench for Chelsea's Premiership clash with Fulham a week tomorrow, which could see them seal the title, with a view to using him more extensively against Liverpool the following week.

Robben's return will give Chelsea a huge lift as they attempt to win a Premiership and Champions League double in their first season under Mourinho.

The 21-year-old has always insisted he would play again this season and is delighted with the prospect of playing in a match that could see Chelsea crowned champions. Robben has had a huge impact since his £12million move from PSV Eindhoven and has been nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year Award.
