Catt cools talk of coaching role in new England set-up

Mike Catt, one of the favourites to become England's new backs coach, today played down his chances of working alongside former captain Martin Johnson.

Catt, who will be in the London Irish side to face Perpignan in the Heineken Cup quarter-final on Saturday, said: "I have had no contact with Jonno whatsoever. I'd love to be involved in the England set-up but I've got to earn my stripes first."
