Carrick gets squad call

14 April 2012

Alan Pardew today included Michael Carrick in West Ham's squad for tomorrow's match at Crewe but admitted he may still have to leave him out.

Carrick is wanted by several clubs, the latest being Tottenham.

"I've included Michael in my preparations but I may have to leave him out of the squad if talks with Spurs progress," said manager Pardew.

Injured central defenders Christian Dailly and Andy Melville will miss the Crewe game as will striker Bobby Zamora.
