Canas to meet Djokovic

Guillermo Canas will meet Novak Djokovic in the final of the Sony Ericsson Open after the Argentinian defeated Ivan Ljubcic in Miami on Friday.

After a closely contested first set, Canas dominated the second to beat Ljubcic 7-5 6-2 in one hour 34 minutes and became the first qualifier to reach the final of the tournament.

Earlier, 19-year-old Djokovic eased past Andy Murray 6-1 6-0 for his second successive ATP tournament final appearance.
