Broncos stand up to sunshine in France

13 April 2012

London Broncos coach Tony Rea praised his side 's ability to cope with the sweltering heat of the south of France in their 30-18 victory over Warrington.

The Broncos switched the game to Carcassonne due to pitch maintenance at Griffin Park and, in temperatures of more than 100 degrees, they gained a hard-fought win thanks to tries from Jim Dymock, Dennis Moran, Nigel Roy, Steve Hall and Paul Sykes.

Rea said: "It was hot, but I'm really proud of the way the boys handled it. Everything has been done diligently."
