Britain's final bid stalled

Great Britain missed out on a place in the final of the speedway World Cup after a thrilling contest with Australia in Outrup, Denmark, last night.

Australia booked their place in the final when after finishing with 62 points, two ahead of Britain.

But Britain could still make Saturday's final if they finish in the top two of the race-off on Thursday.
